Hello, I'm Alexzia!

MSW, LSWAIC

In addition to my passion for counseling, I'm also a firm believer in the therapeutic power of laughter and finding joy in everyday moments. When I'm not counseling, you can catch me and my husband exploring the wonders of the PNW, finding delicious new to us restaurants. Our daughter keeps us giggling with her spunk and awe for life, and I love unwinding with friends over games or snuggling up with our pup, browsing for our next binge-worthy show.

I firmly believe that fostering a sense of playfulness and curiosity can be just as important as delving into deeper emotional work, and I strive to bring a sense of warmth and comfort to every session.

About Me As a Therapist.

Therapy should be a place where you feel fully seen—without judgment, without pretense, just as you are.

My path to this work has been shaped by a deep belief in resilience and the power of human connection. I’ve worked in community mental health, correctional facilities, non-profits, and schools, witnessing firsthand how people find strength even in life’s hardest moments. These experiences have taught me that healing isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about feeling understood, making space for both the struggles and the joys, and learning to trust yourself again.

I approach therapy with empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for your unique journey. My work is especially focused on supporting individuals and couples through major life transitions—whether it’s navigating pregnancy/parenthood, relationship challenges, a shift in identity, or feeling stuck in ways you can’t quite name. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, untangle the emotions that feel overwhelming, and help you move forward with more confidence, greater clarity and self-compassion.

My Approach

Therapy with me is active, engaging, and rooted in real conversations. I show up fully—bringing warmth, curiosity, and the occasional sass—to create a space where you feel safe to go deep and supported to leave feeling lighter.

Sessions often start with checking in on your present reality, then shifting toward deeper exploration. We’ll look at the patterns shaping your relationships, your self-perception, and the way you move through the world. I won’t just listen—I’ll gently challenge you when needed, help you untangle what feels overwhelming, and guide you toward greater clarity and self-trust.I believe therapy should be a place where you can bring your whole self, messiness and all.
